Terms of Use & Safety Notice
1. What fuseplan.app is (and is not)
fuseplan.app is a planning tool. You use it to lay out the contents of an electrical sub-distribution board and it produces a parts list.
fuseplan.app is not a shop. No goods are sold, no purchase contract for components is concluded, and no payments are processed.
2. Buying via Amazon (affiliate links)
About the “cart” button: fuseplan.app compiles the matching components on Amazon and opens a pre-filled Amazon shopping cart. The actual purchase, the sales contract, delivery, warranty and support are handled entirely by Amazon or the respective Amazon seller.
The links are Amazon affiliate links. As a participant in the Amazon Associates programme, fuseplan.app may earn a commission on qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you.
Product selection, prices, availability and brand mapping on Amazon can change at any time and may differ from what is shown here. Before buying, check yourself that the article, type, rated current and characteristic match your plan.
3. Qualified electricians only
Work on the fixed electrical installation (230 V / 400 V), including fitting, altering and connecting a sub-distribution board, must be carried out only by a qualified electrician (in Germany: a firm entered in the network operator’s installer register).
Lay persons must not make any changes to the distribution board or the fixed installation. Configurations created with fuseplan.app are non-binding suggestions and are no substitute for planning, sizing, calculation and verification by a qualified electrician in accordance with the applicable standards (e.g. IEC 60364 / DIN VDE 0100 series).
4. The five safety rules
Before starting any work on electrical installations, apply the five safety rules in this order (EN 50110-1 / DIN VDE 0105-100):
- Disconnect completely: isolate the installation from all supply conductors.
- Secure against re-connection: e.g. remove fuse links, lock off the switch, apply a warning sign.
- Verify that the installation is dead: on all poles, with a suitable, tested two-pole voltage detector.
- Earth and short-circuit: mandatory above certain conditions at low voltage, otherwise per risk assessment.
- Provide protection against adjacent live parts: cover or barrier them off.
The rules are lifted in reverse order.
5. Disclaimer
fuseplan.app gives no warranty as to the completeness, correctness, standards-compliance or suitability of the configurations, parts lists and schematics shown for any specific application. Use is at your own risk. Liability for damage arising from the use of the information provided or from purchases made via affiliate links is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Execution by a qualified electrician in accordance with the recognised rules of technology remains mandatory.
